Measuring & Fitting Guide

Our products fit without a drill — but a no-drill fit depends on the right measurements. Two minutes here saves a return later.

Tension rods

These wedge between two firm, facing surfaces. Measure the gap you want to fill and check it sits within the rod's length range before ordering.

Over-door racks & hangers

Measure the thickness of your door and compare it with the hook dimensions on the product page. Designed for standard UK internal doors.

Adhesive shelves, hooks & baskets

Adhesive holds best on a smooth, clean, dry surface — painted plaster, tile or gloss. It will not hold reliably on textured wallpaper, bare plaster or freshly painted walls (allow new paint four weeks to cure). Clean the surface before fitting and observe the stated weight limit.

Suction-cup roller blind

Measure your window's width and drop, and pick the size closest to — but not larger than — your glass. Suction cups need clean, smooth glass, so wipe the window before fitting.

Freestanding units (shoe rack, wardrobe rack, over-toilet rack)

Measure the width, depth and height of the space before ordering to be sure the unit fits.

Radiator shelves & racks

Measure your radiator's width and depth and check them against the product dimensions before ordering.
